Never had a home like this,
And the prophets said, 'Be careful what you wish.'
Never had to think twice,
Always knew my home was in paradise.

fair thee well [Jun. 24th, 2005|02:12 pm]
so carter left for florida. thats right, carter moved out of the state, and out of my life. =9 i just learned my shift keys don't work either. =9 he's so far111 its not fair. i won't be able to see him everyday. drive by his house near westbrook and know that he can be found there. there will be no more funny late night stories, of him lighting something on fire, of him playing with star, of him smoking pot for the first time, of him drinking for the first time, lol, of him. fair well carter, fair well.

so, jim did this, and responded to my comment with all the answeres stated below, so i'm fulfilling my part of the deal..

01. Reply with your name and I will write something I like about you.
02. I will then tell what song/movie/icon reminds me of you.
03. If I were to apply an o'clock to you, I'll tell you what it would be.
04. I will try to name a single word that best describes you.
05. I'll tell you the most memorable moment I've had with you.
06. I will tell you what animal you remind me of.
07. I'll then tell you something that I've always wondered about you.
08. Put this in your journal.

Os, my fair lady. [May. 13th, 2005|02:25 pm]
Os, when in June (the exact time period) should I be planning to meet you in VA? How much $$ should I bring, equipment, clothing, books, and other assorted things? Is parking/transportation a problem? I just got my car working last week (finally!!!), so I'll be able to drive down there and meet you no problem. If you like, i'll pick you up somewhere too, if that means its easier for you to get there (and so we can spend more time together). I just don't want to wait to the last minute for this. I'm really excited.

I'll agree with that.

Music Rules, and Dictator Music Rules Over All [Apr. 28th, 2005|10:07 pm]
To copy from Jim, Music Related Entries...

THE CD I LIKE TO STEAL FROM... Hmmm, toughie. I'd say, I like to steal quotes from Wish You Were Here by Floyd. Lots of good songs on that album, with lots off good lines.

THE CD FOR MY INNER BLACK MAN... Its hard to say that any CD's I might have would be for any black man, cause well frankly, if you looked at just my CD collection, you'd know right away I was far from anything black, or at least Urban American Black. But I did d/l the G-Unit CD (first one i think? dunno if there are more than one or whats the story there)

THE CD THAT MAKES ME FEEL DIRTY... Dirty huh? Well, I never actually bought this CD, but rather just found it in my car the other day, no idea who's it is. But its an Averl Levine(sp?) CD. I've been holding onto it hoping that someone will claim it, or at least take it off my hands, but no one has so far. I guess it'll just sit there, dirtying up all the other CDs I have till one day I get the heart to throw it out.

THE CD THAT BRIGHTENS MY DAY... Happy2BHardcore by Anabolic Frolic. That, or The Mind of Scott Brown, by Scott Brown. Happy Hardcore fucking rocks. That'll blow away any bad mood I could ever possibly have. I can hear it now..."I wanna see a rainbow high in the sky, I wanna see you and me on a bird, flying away (flying away), and I hope to see your smile every night and day" BREAK!

THE CD FOR COMING DOWN AT 6AM... I'll have to go with Wish You Were Here, again, by Pink Floyd. Its got Shine On You Crazy Diamonds, which I don't know if you can get any more crazy, mellow, come down after a week's long binge of hard core drugs at 6am, song than that!

THE CD THAT TELLS THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE...Not sure about this one. I'll have to temp. go with The Postal Service.

THE CD FOR MY NERDY AIR GUITAR SOLO...I'll just say Shine On You Crazy Diamonds, and skip the rest of the album.

THE CD I'D START A FIGHT OVER FOR...Any Floyd CD

THE CD THAT RESTARTS ANY PARTY... No doubt about this, the CD that always just starts MY party is Vegas, by Crystal Method. I wish you could trip like I do.

THE CD THAT MADE ME, LIKE, THINK... Catching Up With Depeche Mode by Depeche Mode. It would be unfair of me ot say that this was the only CD, or even the best CD, but as I have used enough Floyd referrences, this one is certainly well fitting. For it did make me do just that, think. I thought about a lot of things. I first heard of them through my sister, and later got into them when I was living at my dad's house, and didnt' ahve much to do but explore music, and all its great lessons. But alas, we must reach out and touch faith.

THE CD THAT MADE ME WANNA BLOW SHIT UP...Not sure what CD this would be, but Rage Against The Machine. Wake Up, Killing In The Name Of, No Sheleter, all fucking great songs that make me want to...White House good, must..not...

THE CD THAT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE AN OLD FART...Any time I listen to Buffalo Spring field. Not only do most of the copies of their songs that I have, have that old time crackling to the recordings, but a lot of the stuff is about issues from the 60s, 70s etc. Although it is by fates cruel reasonings, we still have many of the issues addressed by Young and friends as major problems in our contemporary world. And although I may feel like an old fart listening to their songs, I also feel like I'm more in touch with the world and its past.

THE CD THAT ME FEEL SMARTER...MythoSelf Process by Joseph Riggio

THE CD I LISTEN TO ON LONG DRIVES...Beatles #1. I love the Beatles, and I love so many of their songs. I think that CD would keep this little piggy bouncing in his seat all the way home.

THE CD THAT REMINDS YOU OF THE BEACH...Mmmm, nothing in particular, sorry.

Arrrg [Apr. 14th, 2005|02:13 am]
[mood |awake]

Every time I look into your lovely eyes,
I see a love that money just can’t buy.
One look from you, I drift away.
I pray that you are here to stay.

Anything you want, you got it.
Anything you need, you got it.
Anything at all, you got it.
Baby!

Every time I hold you I begin to understand,
Everything about you tells me I’m your man.
I live my life to be with you.
No one can do the things you do.
Anything you want, you got it.
Anything you need, you got it.
Anything at all, you got it.
Baby!
Anything you want
Anything you need
Anything at all

I’m glad to give my love to you.
I know you feel the way I do.
Anything you want, you got it.
Anything you need, you got it.
Anything at all, you got it.
Baby!
Anything you want, you got it
Anything you need, you got it
Anything at all, you got it
Baby
Anything at all
Baby
You got it

I wish I could sing like him.
